I strive to capture the human spirit actively engaged in their environment. My inspiration is fed by natural light, seeing beauty and grace in the simple things, and a deep connection to a sense of place. Having lived on the ocean, sailing around the world for the past four years, my senses are more in tune with the rhythms, colors, and textures of the natural world. My innate ability to travel between cultures enables me to connect deeply and compassionately with my subjects be there a shared verbal language or another. Whether I’m shooting while exploring a remote village or on a stunning white sand beach lapping with turquoise water, free diving with sharks, or sailing through a storm, I approach the moment with presence, passion, and commitment.
